September 1957 saw the opening of the new High School building. It consisted of seven
classrooms, a library, study hall, teachers lounge, superintendent office and a vault.  It was
built directly behind the Old High School Building.  Many new books and study aids were
purchased at this time.  Open house and dedication for this building were held in May 1957.

New teachers added to the faculty were:
