| Miss Rogers was born January 13, 1920 at Carthage, Dallas County, Arkansas, daughter of Rev. Moses K. Rogers and Georgia (Souter) Rogers. She taught at Hughes with her sister, Rena Mae (Rogers) Krevor, in the mid-1940’s. Miss Rogers married on April 14, 1946 at Hughes to Fred Baddour, and they settled in Memphis, where she became involved with the operations of the Fred’s Dollar Store Chain, and her efforts gave rise to her being featured in the ’70-’71 edition of Who’s Who of American Women. She died at West Memphis on April 9, 2007, burial in Lost Creek Cemetery, Sheridan, Grant County, Arkansas |
