| Mary Lea (Storment) Worrell March 19, 1912 – November 27, 1966 Study Hall Supervisor and Librarian Tenure: 1951- 1966 |
| Mrs. Worrell was born March 19, 1912 in Mississippi, daughter of Walter L. and Annie Lee (Morgan) Storment. She studied first at Memphis State College, where she majored in English with a minor in music. Mrs. Worrell subsequently acquired the Masters of Library Science degree at the University of Mississippi, Oxford. She was a member of the Hughes United Methodist Church, where she served as organist. Mrs. Worrell died November 27, 1966 as a result of injuries received in an auto accident, interment in the Enon Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Ackerman, Choctaw County, Mississippi. She was the wife of O.E. Worrell, also of the Hughes Faculty. |
