| Mary Alice (Hudson) McCleish July 19, 1931 – August 27, 1999 4th Grade Tenure: 1952-54 |
| Miss Hudson was born on the family farm near Fordyce in Dallas County, Arkansas, to William Lee Hudson and Abbey (Easterling) Hudson. She graduated from Fordyce High School in 1949 and entered Arkansas A&M College at Monticello, where she earned her Batchelor of Science in Education Degree. Miss Hudson then served on the Hughes Faculty for two years as a 4th grade teacher. She left Hughes and took an elementary teaching position for the Fordyce School System. She married William Sanders McCleish, and they settled at Little Rock. Mrs. McCleish died on August 27, 1999, interment in Liberty Cemetery, Fordyce, Dallas County. |
