| Mr. Ellison was born February 26, 1889 at Atkins, Pope County, Arkansas, son of John William Ellison and Mary Ellen (Milford) Ellison. He began a career of teaching vocational agriculture upon graduation from the University of Arkansas, and by 1940 he was the Vo-Ag Teacher at Hughes High School. He also held teaching positions at Cotton Plant and McCormick, Arkansas. Mr. Ellison died June 3, 1982, in Lonoke, Arkansas, place of interment unconfirmed. |
