| Hughes Public School 1969-1970 |
In March of 1970 construction of a second addition to the High School was begun. This new
construction called for the removal of the Smith Hughes Building (Agri Building) which had
been the campus home of the Future Farmers of America since 1940.
The 1969-70 school year marked the last year the school would participate in Class B athletics.
New members of the faculty in 1969-70 were:
Mr. Robert Smalley, Science
Mr. Lonnie Patterson, Band Director
Mrs. Sharon Smith, History
Mr. Lindell Smith, Math
Mr. Tony Bajoczky, Social Studies
Mrs. Joan Bajoczky, English
Mrs. Linda Estes, 1st Grade
Mrs. Robert Smalley, 6th Grade
New Aides:
Mrs. V.E. Dunlap
Mrs. Bill Bartee
